Mrs Charlotte Jones

Assistant Head of Year 8

Mrs Jones was born and raised on the Island, attending Carisbrooke High School. Upon leaving School, she began her career in the Travel and Tourism industry, obtaining NVQs level 2 and 3 in Travel Services. Mrs Jones considers herself to be very lucky to have had the opportunity to travel and live in some amazing destinations as part of her career.

She enjoys pushing herself, moving out of her comfort zone, all the while learning new things.

Mrs Jones enjoy reading and spending time with her family – especially at the beach!

  • PGCE from University of Chichester
  • Working on a Masters degree in Theology

Experience

She moved into the education sector in 2014, joining a leading educational training provider which sparked her passion for young people’s education.

Mrs Jones is currently studying towards Open Degree with The Open University.

My Goals

To finish my degree whilst persuing a career at The Island Free School. Supporting young children and helping them reach their full potential.
