Mrs Healey studied at Cowes High School where she achieved 11 GCSEs, and then went on to study A-Levels in Physical Education, Geography and Biology with an AS in Maths. She continued her education at Chichester University where she gained a 2:1 Physical Education in Secondary School Teaching.

Experience

Netball has been Mrs Healey’s main sport since middle school; participating for her school but also as part of the Island netball team, and continually being a key part of the Gurnard netball team for the last 15 years. Whilst at university, Mrs Healey competed for the University of Chichester netball and basketball teams.

Back on the Island, Mrs Healey can often be seen out in the sunshine on her bike or on the golf course.

My Goals

To use my enthusiasm and enjoyment of sport to encourage all pupils to just have a go.

Also, I would like to take professional photos of wild animals.
