Miss Lee Allman

Senior Science Technician

Miss Allman, originally from Jersey, finished her high school education on the Isle of Wight.

Aside a slight mishap with a horse which led to her missing the few weeks of the school’s inaugural opening, Miss Allman has been with The Island Free School since its opening in 2014.

In her spare time she enjoys indulging her true passion; horse riding. She can usually be found trekking around the Island’s downlands with her beloved horses, Bubby and Reggie. She also enjoys competitive showjumping and life in the countryside.

Experience

Miss Allman has since graduated with a B.Sc (Hons) and M.Sc in Equine Science from the The University of the West of England with a research focus in applied environmental microbiology. She has worked in technical science, and academic and pastoral support from secondary schools to postgraduate study.

My Goals

Along with the rest of the Science team here at TIFS, I aim to maintain and develop the provision of innovative and inspirational practical science teaching.
