What will I learn?
-To develop and demonstrate your musicianship through performing, composing and appraising
-To perform as part of an ensemble
-To compose freely and to a set brief
-To demonstrate knowledge and understanding of musical elements, musical contexts and musical language through the study of four areas of music including:
-Instrumental Music 1700 – 1820
-Music for Stage and Screen
How will I be assessed?
-Performing 30%; internally assessed; externally moderated
-Composing 30%; internally assessed; externally moderated
-Listening Exam (1hr 45min) based on the four areas of music studied 40%; externally assessed
Are there any entry requirements?
You should be at least Grade 2 standard on an instrument or singing, and continuing or starting one to one lessons with an instrumental / vocal tutor.

A-Level Music, BTEC Music, Platform One, Performing Arts Courses. A variety of careers in: performing, composing, music producing, recording engineering, A&R, teaching, music therapy, music journalism, promoter, tour and artist management, arts administration, instrument technician.
