Sports Day

Rosea Crowned Sports Day Champions!

At the end of term, we held our annual Sports Day for the entire school. It was touch and go with the weather at first, but thankfully the torrential rain finally eased off, allowing all five houses to go into competition with one another.

Pupils took part in an array of field and track events, as well as team events such as an obstacle course and a class relay. It was an exciting day and really demonstrated TIFS sportsmanship, as pupils pulled together in giving their best performance in order to win points for their house. It was fantastic to see so many children encouraging their peers and cheering them on. Many members of staff also joined in with the events to show true team spirit!

At the end of the afternoon, Mr Boyd announced the overall Sports day Champions…Rosea house! Rosea pupils and staff were absolutely over the moon with their well-deserved win, having never won it before. They were closely followed by Flavi as runners-up, Viridis in third, Rubeum in fourth and Caesitas in fifth place. Well done to everyone who took part in what was a very memorable day.
