Remembrance Day 2020

At 11am this morning, the whole school community stopped to observe two minutes of silence to remember those who fell in World War 1.
The final minute of this silence was broken only by our three musicians, Gracie B, Nathan S-B and Mr. Balch, who played ‘The Last Post’, in unison, on their trumpet and flugelhorns. Pupils and staff alike were able to respectfully reflect whilst the music filled the hallways and brought us all together in remembrance.
Sadly, this year, we have been unable to sell poppies as we usually would for the Royal British Legion (an Armed Forces charity organisation dedicated to the life-long support of former service members).
