Mr Mariusz Reflinski, Teacher of Computer Science
Mr Reflinski was born in Poland, and attended school in a city called Rybnik until the age of 12, whereupon he emigrated with his immediate family to England and attended secondary school in West Sussex. After a few years of trying out various subjects at college, he settled into the IT Practitioner BTEC course at Northbrook College where he became the highest achieving student in his class. Carrying on his searching, he went on to attend University of Portsmouth, where he explored various subjects only to find his calling in teaching at around year 3 of the Business Information Systems course, where it was offered as an optional unit. After a year of preparation and various temporary jobs, he then completed his training at the same university, having pursued a PGCE in Computer Science.
Experience
Gaining QTS with Portsmouth University in 2020, Mr Reflinski joined TIFS in September of the same year, enabling the school to offer Computer Science as an exciting new subject in KS3, and at GCSE level. Mr Reflinski demonstrates hard work and dedication to teaching, his pupils and the school. Prior to this, years of hard work at various temporary jobs provided him with a varied skillset, adaptability and the will to succeed.
