Miss Elena Portch, Learning Support Assistant
Miss Portch joined The Island Free School in 2020 to begin her role as an LSA. She grew up in Somerset, and having spent 3 years living in Liverpool whilst studying towards her BSc (Hons) Environmental Science degree at Edge Hill University, she then made her move to the Isle of Wight in 2018. When Miss Portch first arrived on the Isle of Wight, she worked for PGL for 2 years as a Field Studies Instructor, during which time she began studying a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant course with the Isle of Wight College.
In her spare time, Miss Portch enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She is also a skilled clarinet player, and enjoys anything on the artistic side, often painting and drawing, as well as photography when she can.
