Charles Dickens Museum Tour

On Friday 17th November, Year 8, 9 and 10 English GTP pupils visited The Dickens Museum in London. Starting with a Dickensian walking tour, pupils developed a detailed understanding of the underlying social issues embedded in Dickens’ fiction, as well as the author himself (who knew he was such a rock star?!). Their day ended with a seminar and tour of the museum. Our pupils were a credit to the school throughout the day; Miss Barnes, Mrs Boyd and Mr Williams were impressed by their insightful questions and perceptive answers.
