A Thrilling Theatre Experience…

Before the half term break, Year 10 GCSE Drama pupils headed over to the Kings Theatre in Southsea to watch the UK tour of one of the West End’s longest running plays ‘The Woman in Black’. Pupils were exemplary in their conduct when travelling and in the theatre, and we were proud to have several lovely comments from members of the public who were so impressed with them. The performance itself was both thrilling and chilling and has given pupils a wealth of material to further explore for the Live Theatre Review section of their written exam.
“‘The Woman in Black was an amazing play that kept me on the edge of my seat.” – Ada K-S.
“It was terrifying but at the same time exhilarating!” – Katie M-S
Mrs McCarthy and Miss Allcock are looking forward to reading the Live Theatre Reviews that Year 10 will write next term on this thrilling play.
